Last year I thought Scully was hopeless, too nervous. I have to say I think he's been excellent this year, really livened up and he knows his football too. Ozo isn't doing too bad.

Ozo did a good job ..... if just a little down beat at the start, but it really helps when the pundit knows what is going on and can contribute to the discussion.

I really like the idea that TV3 are trying out new people and introducing them to this side of it, which is a side of our game which needs to be developed .... it is good that we would have to rely on inferior panelists like Dunphy and Giles.

The programme needs money .... an injection ..... do TV3 even look for this or would that be up to the league.

What are the league doing to assist on this side of things ??

No first division tonight which is poor .... good goals in Limerick with what looked like a great crowd on Chorus.

Damn. Aertel said it started at 11:55, so I didn't watch it cuz I've an exam at 9 this morning. Sounds like it was on earlier! RTE are trying to make people miss it ro reduce TV3's ratings!

Osam was good, probably the best they've had on this year. I turned it on late (just before Derry v Bray), was there anything on before that?

Drogs Vs. Shels and Cork Vs. Waterford i think. Last nights show was probably the best this season. well put together, loads of action and comments. Good effort from TV3.

Defo keep Ozo there, he came accross very well, They should try get different ex-players on every couple of weeks for different angles. Also, another thing they could look at is doing a profile on each club in the league, spend a few days with the clubs before a match and get the build up to what happens in each club b4 matches etc.........

One of the best eL Weekly's I've seen. The addition of Ozo to the studio team has freshened it up a bit and adds a much needed bit varity to the show. Also the games that were shown all looked very well - a combination of good crowds and the sunny weather proving the benifits of summer football. The second camera at United Park is also a good touch, and allows them to get some shots of the crowd in the shed. They've also stopped limiting the studio analysis to simply getting the lads to talk through a replay of all the goals we've just seen - very repeditive. All they need to do now is move the schedule forward by about an hour.

Ozo was good but he was probably there because Noel King was in Italy preparing the Ireland Women's International team for a friendly against the Azzurini in Venice . So Kinger might be back next week with usual service restored

    Thumbs down

Osam & Scully were like watching paint dry.

Kinger is a fool but at least he'll keep you awake waiting for those stupid comments.

I future i think i'll just record so can skim through the goals later. Pointless talking about games based on 3 minutes of "highlights".

I agree that Scully has improved and I though Osam was decent. However Pete is kind of right, they can't really offer much analysis on those highlights unless they were actually at the game. Also did anyone find it weird that they showed highlights of Kilkenny and never said one thing to Scully? And where was the game from Balleybofey?

We don't get our games recorded anymore. It just simply isn't feasable to pay a camera man to record the match and get a courier to take the tape to Dubland just to get a poxy 20 seconds of it shown at bloody 12 a clock at night.

For the last couple of seasons we've recorded our own games, but it really wasn't feasable for us to continue it, we've more things the money could be spent on - transfer window opens in July
