He should have a fair idea of the condition he needs to be in by now though. I think alot of players before didn't think they needed to be as fit as they actually did when coming back here, it is a differernt ball game now though.
Has said in todays Sun that he's going to play more next season for Bohs. I saw him at the eircom league launch and he looked overweight, this is a player who was playing english premier division soccer 4 season ago! if he's planning on getting through the season he needs to lose the belly!

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
You're dead right, he'll soon wake up to the fact that he needs some level of fitness on friday!
I didn't think he looked overweight in the slightest to be honest.Originally Posted by aido_b
I don't get the impression he keen on playing again. Strange that hes a player-manager then...
Would have to agree with that. There were fatter players out there than Gareth Farrelly.Originally Posted by ThatGuy
The ball is round and has many surprises.
I met Gareth a few weeks ago and he looked in good shape. He also looked ok on Friday night.Originally Posted by aido_b
Gareth Farrelly's 2004 signings did well for Boh's on Friday night.
Dominic Foley played his best el football since his days with St.James's Gate over a decade ago, Farrelly himself had a good game too. He may well prove to have been a shrewd appointment in the longer term.
