    Alan Martin

according to de echo Rams are going to sign alan martin from Rockmount. Does anyone know what he is like as a player? It says that he is a replacement for Yelvie, if he is half as good as steve then he should be very good.

alan is not a bad player, all heart, very tough tackling. not sure he's a replacement for stevie as they are different types of players. i'm not sure is he up to el standard but he has been excellent for rockmount over the last coulple of years (playing sweeper) so he definetly deserves a chance.

Aye will need a couple of players to replace Steve! Is his cousin Greg still training in America, played well for us vs Dundalk last two seasons back.....
