bit of a conundrum this one will you be saying twenty-ten or two-thousand and ten next year ? can we have a poll?

Twenty-ten. I've found the "two thousand and" form clumsy, and wax nostalgic for the grand old days of ninteen ninty-nine. I've written a short book on the subject, which is banned in Canada and parts of the US.

Twenty ten.

"Two thousand and ten" will be abbreviated to "Two thousand ten", and those people need to be shot.

Although an old boss of mine used to refer to "Two-oh-seven", which I used a bit. Ah, the noughties. Remember them? Seems like only yesterday they started.

Twenty ten for me.

Twenty zero one or twenty zero nine don't have a proper ring to them, whereas twenty ten, eleven and so on do!

I did the whole "two thousand and seven/eight/nine" for the noughties but twenty-ten is what rolls off the tongue for me for next year.
