The arrogance! Shades of the Dutch having already booked their flights to Korea in 2001 before they'd played us... Hope this news makes it through to the Irish camp and is put up on the dressing room tactics board alongside Domenech's 'England B-team' comments...

These shirts will be a valuable novelty item in a couple of weeks
Would be a nice story about French Arrogance except for two important facts:
1. Nowhere on the Jersey does it mention the 2010 World Cup.
2. It has nothing to do with the French, rather just some enterprising Chinese sweat shop.

Had heard on the grapevine that the jersey for the World Cup had already been released. From the FFF's website, however, the case appears to be simply that they'll have a new jersey to be used in the playoffs and from then on - World Cup or no World Cup. But technically I was right - they have released the jersey they'll be wearing should they make the World Cup...
It's quite nice, wonder if I can pick one up cheap in Paris after we knock them out!
Image isn't loading for me here, but this suggests that their 2010 World Cup jersey has been leaked...

Yeah Duggie , yourself and youngirish are correct.
What domenech actually said was:
" “L’Irlande, c’est l’Angleterre bis”," - which actually means "ireland are an equivelant of england" or "a replica".
He was referring to our squad as in most of them play in Englands premiership and that alot of his players know the irish players having played with/against them
It does not in anyway mean Ireland are an England B side....just the usual sh*t that comes from reality twisting journalists

It's quite a nice shirt. Just hope it's being worn at home in France next summer. Their current kit is quite strange though, most unlike them...

Adidas have lost the French contract from 2011, so they're ripping the arse out of French jerseys. They had the Euro 2008 one, then that blue one up there and now another one. Argentina, Paraguay and Mexico are launching theirs too.
