City Edition, Cork City FC's matchday programme has been named the Premier Division Programme of the Year for 2008 in the Irish Football Programme Club's 2008 Programme of the Year Awards.
City Edition finished ahead of Shamrock Rovers in second and Finn Harps third, while Dundalk won the First Division Award.
Speaking to CorkCityFC.ie, City Edition Editor Éanna Buckley said: "I'm absolutely delighted to have been informed that City Edition has won this award. There are some excellent programmes produced in the League, and to be named the best is a huge honour. There is a huge team involved in producing the programme, and I would like to thank all of those who contribute articles and photographs, along with our printers, Cityprint, for their help and support."
The Irish Football Programme Club's Annual Programme Fair is being held on Sunday May the 31st in St Andrews Resource Centre, Pearse Street, Dublin 2 10am to 2pm.

Termonbarry Athletic TID!
Not sure cos I haven't seen yers, we've won it something like 9 of the last 11 seasons.
Dundalk should win comfortably, if it's the same standard as previous seasons.
ya cork s programme is always top quality . Congrats on award
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!
I was reading Monaghan Utds program last night. It has come on in leaps and bounds over the last couple of years..It is definitely one of the better first division programs produced this season..
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Having now seen both it's a tight contest but I'd probably still have Cork's slightly ahead of Dundalks (which was top class too)
Both are streets ahead of most of the others.

Dundalk won the First Division award for the second year running. Battle royal between Cork and Dundalk this season... assuming Cork make it to the end of the season
There isn't a cash prize for this is there?
The clubs are normally presented with a framed programme at the programme fair on Sunday next May 31st in St. andrew Resource centre in Pearse street.
