    match Referee and Linesmen

Appointment in specsavers tomorrow lads. You'll be OK for dolphin V Con next week based on tonights performance
    P.S Willie
You have to learn to slow down so as they can focus on you for a few minutes before you make your run.

    Well played the Rams......very unlucky...

How Eddie Foley ever refereed a World Cup game I'll never know. I honestly believe he does not understand the offside rule!

Some of Buttimer's desicions were baffling aswell.

Ramblers deserved to win and would have if O'Reilly hadn't missed two of the easiest chances you'll ever get.

    Foley is a joke.

    Buttimer is little better.

Tynan takes too much abuse from fans (he should get stuck in a bit more though)

    Yur man Reilly isnt good.

Dave Hill should never be allowed take a set piece again

Unlucky Ramblers, ye did yere selves proud tonight. A bit of luck and ye would have won. Great cup tie.

I Cant believe what has happened tonight we dominated the game from start to finish Derry had 1 chance in the whole game. Will the FAI please stop sending down Cork refs as it is clear that they HATE our club already this year they cost us the Munster Cup, The League Cup and now a place in the next round of the FAI Cup. Im gutted big time I hate Eddie Foley

Gutted is'nt the word...... Robbed sounds a bit more realistic although to be honest thats what we get for not taking at least one of our chances.......Great support Ramsie, ye boys must be hoarse by now or have sore hands from beaating the drum.

P.S Anyone see the rugby tackle on Bruton before the bust up...would like to see replay to see was it as blatant as I thought it was...

    rams were robbed!

    the officals were awful!!!

reilly played well! he was marked very tight for the whole game!

bruton was floored off the ball by some defender and then recived a couple of digs and he got booked!

ramblers should have won and were by far the better team!

    Ramsie -----Ref and Foly

For once i agree with you .---But it was a Corkman ,Pat Kelly who appointed the officals ---Buttimer is a joke and Foly God only knows what he is doing on a soccer pitch .
Some strange dicisions ---but i dont think they cost us the game .Our wingers and frontmenare having to fight for ball ---their is nothing happening from midfield --no distribution .
--no one directing play .The forwards are defending to deep .
Great preformace however and the lads should be proud .
Lets look forward to the Leauge and i am sure playing the foothball that we can we will get that promotion spot .

Lads, ye should have won it, no point in blaming the officials. Ye were much the better team. Bruton needs a good kick up the h*le though. O'Reilly is very good, if he could just finish, and I thought ye'r number 3 had a great game. Andrews played well and Darren Murphy (?) deserved the motm award.
However, I will say that some of Foley's decisions were absoluteley unbelieveable.
How that guy is allowed to continue is incredible. The rugby tackle was seen by everybody in the ground except the 4 officials, even Keeley had a go at his own player cos he thought it was going to be a peno.

A good enough game, pity ye couldn't keep it going for the second half.

Angry Great match, pity about the officials

Rams played great last night, really showed up Derry. I cannot believe some of the decisions the officials gave and failed to give. It was the most blatent red card of the night when Willie Bruton was pulled down. There is no way that Cork Officials should be appointed for Cobh games and I would call on the club to make a request to the league on this matter. Well played lads!!! You have got to keep that standard up now.

    Cool Good game

I have to say I was gutted by the result, however it was great to see the team respond to a big crowd of supporters

Lets hope they can keep it going and Reilly starts converting the chances.

Cork officials??? Foley is from East Cork, where, correct me if im wrong, is where Cobh is.

Also, Foley is just as bad, if not worse when running the line of a City game.

Ye didnt win last night because you didnt capitalise on your possession. Ye created very little and moaned when things went wrong.

Ill admit, it was a greatmatch and a very proud performance from Ramblers, but the team needs major work. I was disappointed ye lost last night as the better team didnt win.

    Thumbs up Thanks Shammy

Thanks for the compliment on Stephen Shammy. Touch wood and fingers crossed, its a very competitive career, you need that bit of luck and need to stay injury free. He is a huge Ramblers fan and was gutted at the result when I told him

Well said Shammy..... all the best for Stephen, Eddie and hope above all that he enjoys the experience at a club of that size. It is an achievement that is well deserved and I know all Rams fans will wish him all the best for the future.......
