Noel King gets another dig in

I was having a quick look at the tape of the game again this afternoon and after the game our good ignorant friend from Dublin Mr. Noel King came out with another little gem.
Trev was talking about how disappointing the match was and King gave him a look as to say whatcha expect? he then opened his mouth and said "They (City and Pats) are not good football teams, there are only three teams in this league capable of playing football, Bohs Shels and Rovers and it's no coincidence that they were the top three last year"
Now whatever about Bohs and Shels I would have thought we were a better footballing side than Rovers... although after yesterday Im not so sure!

    i wonder how many times

did noel king see city in cork last season?

our away form was terrible. However if he was basing his assumptions on yesterdays game he would be correct.

That Noel King is the biggest fucin muppet that has ever graced our tv screens....the man is a paler true and true...

he talks so much tripe its untrue.....at this stage i have a automatic filter on when ever he is on, it blocks out everything he says.... i suggest everyone gets one...

    At ht:
Trev "City are playing a lot of long high balls"
Noel "Well they have height on the bench with the 2 Colin O'Briens"

Yesss Noel, Colin Snr is a giant after all! He must be 5'10!

    I hate King!!!

Should we start an email campain to tv3 to get him off?
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.

I'd say just call in the Fashion Police.

    They'll take care of him.

He's right! Cork and Pats are the two biggest proponents of route one hoofing in the league. I can't say I'm overly surpirsed that he game turned out like that.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

Didn't see the game on tv3 but hard to criticise Noel King for any comments on saturdays bore. However his comments last year were so biased it became funny near the end of the season.

Remember this is the same Noel King would while coaching Drogheda (on the sly) was making commenst on tv3 about their game with $h€£$.

The guy is a muppet and TV3's coverage is weaker for having him on television.

Sure what does that matter? Doesn't make them a boring team! We lost 1-0 and played much better than I've ever seen Cork play...

    Hoof one Dolo!
    Hoof one son!

    Let's hoof another one!

Have to say fair dues for getting 7000 though - seriously, if youz start to play proper passing football on a regular basis, then I can see the Cross sold out most weekends.

I'd say closer to 6k. The cross was full for a few games last year & probably averaged over 5k for the season.
