Derry could just sell that stupidly nonsensical tv screen they spent ridiculous money and put that towards some sort of ground improvements.

Good idea! Had better get in quick before London funding for NI drys up.

Have to say, that looks fantastic. The pictures are a bit small, so detail isn't easy to spot, but it looks really good and would turn out a great LOI ground if it ended up like that. Plenty of room for expansion too. The fact they're calling it 'current phase' as opposed to 'when finished' is also encouraging.

Must say the artist impression looks good and gives a much better idea what we are looking at.

The expected weather could cause serious problems though. I wouldn't be surprised if the first few games only one or two sides are open with capacity limited. It was done in Thomond Park at the time of redevelopment there.

Mentioned earlier, stadium developments in Derry. Not at the Brandywell though.
Stute struggle to get over 200 at a match, but they're managing to create a great wee ground.

I was at their ground for a Setanta game a couple of seasons back and was well impressed with the setup they already have.. very tidy ground with a decent club bar to boot.

See, you can't let them Cork fans in anywhere. They'll always wreck the joint.

You must have been lost. They don't have a bar!

Cliftonville-Crusaders relations hit an all-time low as the Reds discover Crues have been concealing an entire bar from them.

... the marching band music was the highlight.
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!

How much did we spend on it?

Don't worry I'll tell you - nothing. It was already owned by our chairman and his business. Swing and a miss. Try another baseless wind-up.

Story in the Sindo about Dalymount and Tolka, seems that a ground share is possibly on the way for Bohs and Shels with Dublin City Council providing the money and project management if report accurate. Tolka would disappear and Dalymount would be saved as a soccer venue, which I suppose is a reasonable outcome after the awful mess that the two clubs have made of their affairs. Still sad that another LoI ground may go. Hope we get to a situation soon where all LoI grounds are in public ownership and that it will not be possible to take out loans secured on them. Also it would be logical to have Pats share with Shamrock R, whenever the loan on Richmond Park is resolved/paid back?

Why would Pats want to share with Rovers ?
Any link to the article in question ?
