Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
Scoring my first goal for our local team (reserve team at that! boosers not loosers was out motto!) in the Roscommon and District league.![]()
Setting up a lunch time gymnastics club in the school was prob the only thing I did of note sporting in school. I lived for gymnastics and was forced to do athletics by my world champion medal holding father!
More recently, being the driving force behind setting Monaghan United's womens team and helping put together Monaghan Utd Under 14 & U16 girls teams but they have fallen by wayside at the moment and I have to really put in some effort to get them going again.
Am ok at organisation but ****e at sport.
Bohemians vs Wycombe Wanderers in a friendly. It was just after Wycome had their cup run. I was walkin back to the jodi stand with a hot dog in me hand when the ball was kicked out of play.
I took it down, volleyed it about, did a little trick and then headed it straight into a wycombe players hands to which he said, "you should be out here"! got a big cheer for it!![]()

2005 - a great year for Irish football
Just remembered another one:
Starting the chant "Tony Cas---car--innnooooo" when Tony lead the team out after half time at Anfield. When I got home I immediately fast forwarded the video to after half time and sure enough the TV had captured it. The only thing to hold on to after that sad day.

Winning the U-16 Leinster Schools Title in 1995. We were 2-1 down going into injury time and won 3-2 with goals from none other than Glen Crowe and Ritchie Partridge. Always remember the coach pulling up outside the school with us singing champione champione and the U-16 girls were arriving back from their final at the same time having been beating 10-0. we felt a bit guilty about celebrating infront of them for all of ten seconds![]()
