Strange imagination there Red if you can discern any likeness from words in a novel where Georgie Burgess is hardly described, apart from getting Sharon's knickers off, and Pat Devlin.

I'd suggest you read the book or indeed the trilogy rather than relying on the cinematic version where actors are used!!

i presume they mean the actor that portrays Burgess in the film bears a resemblence to Devlin
bit of trivia the same actor is also Pat Mustard from Father Ted

Maybe the relevant boards are willing to give them time.

like the way you dont have bray in!!! as if they would be sacking their manager
    Strachan on Rooney:
It's an incredible rise to stardom, at 17 you're more likely to get a call from Michael Jackson than Sven Goran Eriksson.

Why is Rico and Stephen Kenny there then? It's hardly likely that they'll get sacked this season!
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

    Disagree Sligoman.

There were protests outside Turners X at one point last year calling for Rico and Lennox out. Cork fans are incredibly fickle and I wouldn't be surprised to see Rico under pressure if Cork don't get a good start.

Can't imagine any situation where Kenny would be sacked.
"The Derry fans were fantastic in both matches. They sang their hearts out all the time and created an even better atmosphere than the Cup Final. They were brilliant. - David Graham, Gretna striker

I don't think even Cork fans are that fickle. Realistically, there's no real chance they'll finish below third at worst and it would be a bit much if they sacked a year after winning the league.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

    This too!

It's unlikely but all sorts of things can go wrong, on and off the field.

I'm sure Dolan thought he was pretty secure after a good European run and taking Cork to within a game of winning the title but he didn't even make it to the first game of the following season.

Kenny, Keely and Roddy Collins have all been shown the door recently following successful seasons in one way or another. Last season two trophy-winners - Fenlon and Matthews came under a bit of pressure.

I think Devo is a fair exception. Pretty much everything that is going to happen to Bray has happened already during Devlin's reign - if they were going to get rid of him they'd have done it years ago!
