I think we should try Paul Butler up front. He seemed to think he was a striker against the Czech Republic a few years ago anyway.

Actually I was just perusing this soccor index as I am prone doing and who
is in there a no 55 but our very own Garry Breen, first tme I have noticed him
in there, which makes him our highest rated (central) defender.
Not a bad feat really considering Sunderland have been propping up the table
    for an age.
I don't know how the thingis calculated but I expect his goal was worth a
    few points.
I also notice R Dunne has dropped out of it, no doubt his hand-ball in the
    box helped achieve that.
Also Carr is in but Finnan is out.

Well, it has it's advantages, he's less likely to score an own goal then
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Very true....he single handedly relegated west ham. Such grace, speed......but I still love him....what the hell play him up front..just don't but O' Shea in goal.

Second consecutive appearance in Actim team of the week.

Curiously played at centre-back rather than centre forward

Will he start against Cyprus? On current form it would be hard to leave him
    out.

Hardly he didn't play after they conceded 6 against United in the cup that season. West Ham were dire that year. While he did play his part in their relegation, to say he did it single-handedly is a bit extreme
