    Unhappy Upcoming suspensions

    The following suspensions and sanctions were issued by the Disciplinary Commission at their meeting on Wednesday, 17th August 2005 and will take effect as and from Wednesday, 31st August 2005 unless otherwise stated:

    Alan Byrne (Kildare County) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €40 as a result of reaching eight (8) penalty points.

    David Conway (Kerry League) suspended for ONE (1) Under 21 competitive match and fined €15 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

    Gary Curran (Sligo Rovers) suspended for ONE (1) Under 21 competitive match and fined €15 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

    Mark Dempsey (Technical Official, Kilkenny City) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match, fined €200 and warned as to his future conduct as a result of being reported by the referee following the match v Limerick (05.08.05). For this one match suspension, Mr Dempsey is to remain at least 50 metres away from the dressing room, technical area and pitch for at least two hours before the match as well as during the match and for one hour after the match.

    James Dwyer (Kilkenny City) suspended for ONE (1) Under 21 competitive match and fined €15 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

    Colin Fortune (Galway United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €40 as a result of reaching eight (8) penalty points.

    Jimmy Fullam (Monaghan United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

    Ray Kenny (Kildare County) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

    Kilkenny City were fined €200 for the improper conduct of their players and officials (five players carded and two officials reported) v Limerick (05.08.05).

    Jalmard Kusten (Sligo Rovers) suspended for ONE (1) Under 21 competitive match and fined €15 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

    Ian Maher (St. Patrick's Athletic) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

    Brian McCrystal (Dundalk) suspended for ONE (1) eircom League match and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Sligo Rovers (01.08.05). Automatic suspension in next eircom League match as per FIFA directive already served.

    Thomas McGauley (Limerick) suspended for THREE (3) competitive matches and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Kilkenny City (05.08.05). Automatic suspension in next eircom League match as per FIFA directive already served and TWO (2) competitive matches as and from Wednesday, 31st August.

    David McGill (Dublin City) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

    Michael McNamara (Sligo Rovers) suspended for ONE (1) eircom League match and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Dundalk (01.08.05). Automatic suspension in next eircom League match as per FIFA directive already served.

    Eric Molloy (Athlone Town) suspended for ONE (1) Under 21 League match and fined €25 as a result of being sent off v Bohemians (07.08.05). Automatic suspension in next Under 21 League match as per FIFA directive already served.

    Monaghan United were fined €200 for the improper conduct of their players (six players carded) v Kildare County (06.08.05).

    David Mulcahy (Waterford United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

    Conor O’Grady (Sligo Rovers) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €40 as a result of reaching eight (8) penalty points.

    Ciaran Quinn (Monaghan United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

    Jim Rhatigan (Secretary, Kilkenny City) fined €100 and warned as to his future conduct as a result of being reported by the referee following the match v Limerick (05.08.05).

    Gerard Rowe (St. Patrick's Athletic) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

    Conor Sammon (U.C.D.) suspended for ONE (1) Under 21 competitive match and fined €15 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

    Darren Sargent (St. Patrick's Athletic) suspended for ONE (1) Under 21 competitive match and fined €15 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

    St. Patrick's Athletic were fined €100 and warned as to the future conduct of their supporters as a result of two flares being lit before kick-off v Shamrock Rovers (05.08.05).

    Sligo Rovers were fined €100 for the improper conduct of their players (five players carded) v Dundalk (01.08.05).

    That's McNamara and O' Grady gone for the home game against Monaghan and Connor will be watching the game from the stand as he too is banned.
