You sure about Douglas? All I could find was one post on twitter that he was eligible. Nothing about actually switching international allegiance, and no mention of a call up on fai,ie
The under 18 leagues start today in England. A lot less lads now because of Brexit involved than a few years ago.
Nice to see trent start straight away for Liverpool. Interesting to see Jason Koumas s son has scored a few for Liverpool today and dock who played for Celtic first team last season also scored today
Leeds have 4 lads - andreucci and Douglas scored today mcgrath and Coleman also involved
Tottenham have Bloxham involved and grante playing for crystal palace
Just noticed former underage player Gerard Nash was appointed U18 coach at Villa during the summer.

Liverpool's Trent Kone Doherty, AC Milan's Cathal Heffernan, Inter's Kevin Zefi, and Celtic's Rocco Vata and Ben Quinn all named in their respective club's squad for this season's UEFA Youth League, as well as the Shamrock Rovers team
All squads and players available here

Vata is actually listed as Scottish, but that's surely a mistake?
Good chance they looked at where some players were born and listed them as that nationality. They've Celtics Josh Clarke as English even though he plays for Northern Ireland and has been involved with the senior squad.
Andreucci named in Scotland's U19 squad for a tournament in Slovenia

Missed Bloxham at Spurs on this list as well, his nationality is listed as English on uefa.com

<EDIT>
Heffernan not named in the AC Milan team against Salzburg; Vata starts for Celtic against Real, Quinn on the bench.
Josh Clarke named among the substitutes as well - he played for the England U17s in March 2021, then our U18s the following August, before switching to Northern Ireland, and has played for their U19s and been named as a substitute for the senior team
Trent scored again today against man city for Liverpool 18s. Also started in victory over ajax for the 19s during the week. It's been a very impressive start to his time at liverpool
Zefi named on the bench for Inter's U19s against Barcelona

https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...inger-25330454 2 more yesterday for trent and scored last week as well. Has settled really well there. Hard to know why he is not in the 17s squad this week
Can the club refuse a call up for competitive games?
Spurs didn't release Parrott for the U17 euros finals when we hosted them three years ago. It's not an official fifa international window I believe. Similar that summer we missed a rake of players for the U19s because clubs wanted them around for pre season.
https://www.the42.ie/tottenham-starl...21138-Jul2019/
"However, the fact that the tournament does not take place during an official Fifa international window means clubs ultimately have the final say as to whether players can travel and in many instances, they have insisted the individuals in question stay at home for pre-season training.
Mohan said 11 players in total were unavailable, including many who helped Ireland qualify so convincingly.
Among the notable absentees from the squad are Nathan Collins (Stoke), Tom Gaston (Bordeaux), Aaron Bolger (Cardiff), Gavin Bazunu (Man City), Conor Coventry (West Ham), Troy Parrott (Tottenham), Richie O?Farrell (UCD), Luca Connell (Celtic), Will Ferry (Southampton), Will Smallbone (Southampton), Adam Idah (Norwich), Michael Obafemi (Southampton), Aaron Connolly (Brighton), Jordan Doherty (Sheffield United), Jason Knight (Derby) and Glen McAuley (Unattached after leaving Liverpool)."
