Correct, Wigan mentioned in their statement that they made efforts to try and retain him and the other lad that opted to terminate their contracts over several breaches of contract by the club with unpaid wages

As a free agent I wonder will he attract the interest of a Championship club. I know it didn't work at Wigan but he's shown there's a half decent player in him at times in Scotland and internationally
    Its really not that complicated!!!

Has been linked to Hearts for a while but they seem like a bit of a basket case at the moment, so possibly not the best move for him. He needs to find somewhere he can settle and play week in week out at a decent level.

Shamrock Rovers should take him on until end of the season.

Starts for the Deenies. Management wants him to be more aggressive.

Aberdeen live player rating for him:

    Jamie McGrath - 6
Didn't see as much of the ball as he would have liked but worked his socks off and helped give Aberdeen a solid defensive structure.

Beale might be on his way out of Rangers if things keep going like this. There could be another spin of the managerial merry-go-round coming up.

did some digging, you have to go back more than a decade for the last Irish player to scored a goal in European competition in Greece
