You're right. How about a book of condolence at the SC table on the way in? Any other ideas?
I just realised that Limerick are playing Athlone next Friday and that it is Athlone's first match since the death of Shane Brennan. I thought it would be a good idea if the supporters club could do something to show their support to Athlone, its supporters and the family of Shane Brennan. I am unable to think of anything, but I think it would be nice if we could do something all the same.
Limerick 37, its so shiny and new we dare not take the cover off.

I think a book of condolence is a very good idea and a simple way to express our sympathy to those involved. I'm in favour of the idea LFCIE.

Class blokes above. As a Town fanatic, sincere appreciation for your kind thoughts.
Hope both clubs go up.
Yes it does seem like a nice gesture, good idea maybe John D might look in to it..............Originally Posted by Nempton

Sorry John for getting you more work. I'd be happy to do it but if I make it this Friday I'll be lucky to get there for kick-off. Maybe someone else could volunteer to do along with the Sc - the committee don't have to do everything.

Sorry if I sound disrespectful or ignorant for that matter, as I don't mean to be, but who was Shane Brennan .? Can someone enlighten me please.
No Worries LFC in Exile
We will get this sorted. Will need a hand though as myself and Gael will be seling Car Tickets as well
I will bring a book and give it to the Athlone Staff afterwards
Thanks for bringing up the idea

Shane Brennan, or 'Mousey' as he was known, was a member of the Longford Town U21 team that won the Enda McGuill Cup. He subsequently played for Monaghan Utd and Athlone Town and also the Irish Colleges Team.Originally Posted by Mark_no9

Abbeyvale - u were obviously relying on Error-tel. They had it as 0-0 and even updated teh league table with that result. Idiots. I have given up on it and now arrange for someone at the match to give me a call if I can't make it myself.
