    Do all the Premier clubs now have Premier licences?

    Do all the first division clubs all have the appropriate licence?

    From the official FAI website;

    The UEFA Club Licence Appeals Board has reviewed further information and documentation submitted by Longford Town and has today granted a Premier Division Licence to the Club for the coming season.

    Football Association of Ireland Chief Executive, John Delaney, said that he was delighted that all Clubs had now achieved their Club Licences.

    “The FAI Club Licensing Department will invite in all Clubs over the next few weeks for a formal review of the 2005 licensing process and to prepare for 2006”, he said.

    “I am confident that available funding can now be drawn down to assist Clubs in development programmes submitted as part of the licensing process”, Mr. Delaney concluded.

    There's over three million euro in grant aid now to be allocated to clubs so lets hope Rovers get a fair share of the money. Ray Gallagher is Rovers representative on the FAI so lets hope 'Mr Sligo Rovers' ever success as he pits horns with the other officials.

    I've just read today's edition of the Star newspaper and it says that both Dublin City and Kildare County were awarded the 'B' licence on Wednesday last. So that means all clubs are now equiped with licences for the new season.
