The sports complex developers were stopped in their tracks after the planning was refused, as a result of the residents objection but there was rumour of them still going ahead (not too sure what was happening there though) ... but if the FAI as maintaining it ?? ..... am i right in saying it'll be there for another few years ??

I definitely think its worth exploring. Bus and car links to it are way better now than they were, and there's decent parking out there too. Still a decent amount of room for expansion too.Time for City to have a look at moving back there!

AFAIK, the only reason we didn't pass the A License was because of paperwork, not the X. Personally, I don't see the sense in moving back there, our gates would lower due to incovenience for many.
with the proper infrastructure in place, the black ash park and ride, the number 8 and number 1. number 5 to a lesser extent, the ability to get out there from the city via the new ballincollig bypass in about 10-12 minutes.
i think it could never be ruled out.
iwouldnt mind if we moved out there. have to build it up a bit first though!
