Unreal!
Confirmed for 1st Sept at the CCS according to ltfc.ie. Monday not ideal but it's hard to get a date that suits everyone. Nice to have a final in Longford though.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Unreal!
A final at home brilliant news but hardly seems fair
With it being played in September, is that, technically, a carried-over final from 2013-14?

Kinda, but every final since the LSC returned in 2010 has been played in the latter half of the LOI season (and therefore the following LFA season)
3 of the 4 finals have been won by the away team too (Shels in Bray, Pats in Dalymount, Rovers in Inchicore). The other was Rovers v Pats CY in Tallaght

How on earth is It unfair, it's always a coin toss for the LSC final!
Personally I would have preferred the trip to Richmond as we had a great LSC away day up there last season but hopefully the club market this right and draw on the bandwagon mentality of the locals
I didn't know it was always a coin toss, but as it's the Leinster cup final I suppose that is the fairest way as must finals would otherwise end up in a Dublin ground be it Tallaght, Dalymount, or even Landsdown road, that would be like a home game for a Dublin club if they were in the final, so at least this way it's 50/50 who gets the bigger crowd, I expect City Calling to be nearly full I hope so anyway
Was hoping for Lansdowne myself...
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Would be nice to win a piece of Silverware.
Change of date to Tuesday 9th September.....
The one weekend I decide to come home and it's changed. Can't make the Shels game away either as I'd booked Monday and Tuesday 1st, 2nd off. Pretty peed off with all the faffing to be honest.
'Fascists dress in black and go round telling people what to do, where as priests.....'
both teams would have had only 1 day off before the 1st of September but now Longford have 2 days and St Pats have 3, hardly seems fair but then we have home advantage, I think we might just need it, time for the squad to be used
