Wonder what odds you'd get on Robbie Keane not scoring?
Records are always hard to beat.
I hope he gets a hat-full and we can forget about this record business.
We should take plenty long range efforts early on while the Pharos are settling in.

I'm not so confident, in their last group, the Faroes didn't concede that many, France only got two and only Swizterland have really given them a dicking.

I think it'll be a poor show if we get less than 4 though, I can't remember the last time Ireland went to town on a 'lesser footballing nation'.

I think that Keane needs a goal tomorrow, as this record business has to be put behind him, if not it could really become a pain in the arse for him. Any direct set peice of peno should be given to him and we should try and find him as much as we can, if we're winning and he hasn't scored.

Probably the Malta game a few years back, 5-0 wasn't it? And unless I'm getting it confused with another game, Gary Breen got a superb goal casually rounding the keeper and slotting it in.

I hope robbie scores more than 2. I have money on him !!

If the faroes stick 10 men inside the peno area all day then I reckon Kerr should bring on the doc up front. They will be trying to keep the scoring as low as possible and of course score the un expected themselves. Full concentration will be required.

Ireland can get 4 or even up to 7 or 8 goals if they really push for it, but they never do. A good thrashing will give the whole squad a bit of confidence and get rid of the record limit talk rubbish.

With PP? 10/1 odds are fairly crap TBH. The Faroe's are better than Cyprus and the team will more likely score just 3 than Robbie alone.

I wouldn't say they're better then Crypus, I'd say they're worse in fact, despite the result at the weekend. Aren't Cyprus all fully pro, whereas the Faroes only have one fully pro player and he's not going to be in Dublin. I know that doesn't automatically make them worse but it does have an effect.

I think we'll be doing well to win by 2, hope I'm wrong but I don't think we'll manage two good performances in a row.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
