1-1. ball broke to a nantes forward, chipped devine. came out of the blue by the sounds of it, city have had a lot of good chances. hope we push for a win on the night at least...

Ahamada sent off. Cork have fifteen minutes to pull it out of the fire. Be some achievement.

    cork city 1-1 nantes

an incredible effort from a fantasic team. at 1-0 up we came so close so often to that crucial second goal - it's hard to believe we came so close to beating a team like nantes over 2 legs. the way the game played out it's hard not to be disappointed but city have achieved a lot. they created history in reaching the quarter finals of a european competiton, were unbeaten at home in 3 european ties and in the end it took a huge effort from a top european side to knock them out. and they achieved all that playing patient, attractive attacking football. they've raised the bar for irish club sides - proud to be a city fan.

    legends.

yeah well done city!fantastic match the second goal was so close!
city did what man united couldn't scored first yahoo!
a lot of positives taken from the inter toto run!
hopefully we'll carry the form onto the league and cup and get some silverware!
the crowd was unreal tonite apart from the few sunshine supporters who left early but that was expected any ways theres always a few fickle ******s!!!
should be a good crowd at the waterford game now!

    bring on the students!
    city till i die!

We should have beaten them and I'd say they know it too.Multi-million euro players on more money in a week than most of our boys get in a year and they had to hang on to get the draw, brilliant stuff by everyone involved in our great club, especially the fans.
