Is Dave living in Cork? any other clubs he is linked with? Wasnt he helping out a local cork non league side earlier in the season?
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

I wasn't jumping up and down with joy when Rogers first signed, knowing what happened in Dundalk but to be fair he was a good player for us and its not a great time to be losing him. He was exactly what we needed when he signed and did a good job. I'd imagine he'll be signing for another club soon as i cant see him being out of football for too long.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Fantastic footballer in the first division, was a very calming influence to all the other young lads across the back four early on.
He'll certainly be a loss but the last few weeks it seemed his heart wasn't really in it. (Although that could go for all of them)
The back pass the other night was probably the final straw.
Whether the commuting got too much or he had a fall out with Dunne it doesn't matter now
Best of luck Dave and thanks.
