I posted a couple of these in the Lansdowne Road thread last night but they do deserve their own thread so I gathered together a collection of clips. A lot of the footage was used in the Dalymount Days documentary a couple of years ago but well worth a second look....

I've only seen the two Ireland videos you put up in the Lansdowne Road thread as of yet, but the commentary is absolutely hilarious. I get the impression it isn't the original commentary but might have been added by the producers in recent years and scripted to sound authentic.
The crowds also seemed to be much more courteous in those days. The England crowd even appeared to clap and cheer the Irish goals during the 2-0 win in Goodison Park in 1949.
