Smith is the only player leeds have that leeds can make money from, excellent player.Viduka could have been sold for 20 million 2 or 3 years ago but he'd prob go for 7 or 8 now.I think leeds don't actually own him so they'd make nothing anyway.
The man is the best midfielder in the prem at the moment, brilliant passing ability, great tackling, getting forward at every oppurtunity, shooting, scoring and creating goals for others.
Pity he's carrying a lot of his liverpool team mates. My bet for player of the season after Henry even if he is in a liverpool team that is underachieving once again.

True that it's like a bargain basket at Elland rd these days, just pop in and offer some pittance and they'll rip your arm off to get the money.
More chance of taking a **** in the Queen's handbag. You might as well flush your money down the loo.Originally posted by Conor74

Sorry to be a pedant Conor, but the ignorant racist left for West Ham for a fee of £100k rather than the larger sum you mention.Originally posted by Conor74
Bowyer left for 10m when Lpool had bid 8m a few months beforehand.
I can think of a certain team from the west end of Glasgow that rival them in that respect...Originally posted by Conor74
only Leeds could have done so badly in business...

Aint revenge sweet?!
I reckon Leeds will stay up. All they need is one win and if things go right for them with the other results they're out of the relegation zone. And they have enough people coming through to get rid of big players and still stay up next year if they get their act together. They could well be slipping into mid-table mediocrity for a few years though...
Mid-tabel mediocrity with £80m in debts? Not for long, they're not.Originally posted by Falconblade

I think they'll go down and I won't be too broken hearted if they do,good riddance I say,a bunch of dirty players playing above their level for too long.Although to be fair they are starting to get rid of their scum element by getting rid of Bowyer,Woodgate,Mills and co.
On? Leeds is like a charactor in a Warner Brothers cartoon - it's just ran over that brink of financial collapse. It just hasn't looked down yet.Originally posted by Conor74
...and one is somewhere between the two hovering on the brink of financial collapse.
