Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
Its amazing how the reputation of one man could get a team to play out of their skin. Similar kinda thing happening at Villa.

That's nearly all the time with new managers though. Theirs a new buzz about the place and for the first few games, the team play really well. Keano just needs to make sure it last's the season.

I know he is but he has already said that he has not done anything yet. I was referring to how players can lift their game for a game or 2 just due to the fact the persons personality and reputation. Martin O Neill will also ensure they keep heading upwards as he is such a good manager.

but keane didnt take charge of this game v WBA so they'd probably have won it anyway, theres bound to be a reaction after Bury
That is the point I am making, Both Keane and O Neill have very strong personalities that players look up to. I dont know how many sport stars in Ireland always pick Keane as their sporting hero. He has something that fellow sportsmen really admilre. I think teh general public are more split on their admiration for Keane that the sporting community is. Especially the Irish one.
ANyway O Neill is a proven manager and Keane is a rookie so I am not comparing them as managers more that because of their strong personalities they can have positive effects on the players without having the time to get across their managerial skills.

Doesnt say much for the professionalism of the Sunderland players if they werent able to rouse themselves before Keane took over.
True is not that professional of them, but I don't think Quinn ever managed to rouse them... he was "too nice" plus they knew he was only a temporary solution... maybe the uncertainity messed with them...
"A silent mouth is sweet to hear"
pure co incidence
they won there first game of the campaign
a statistical possibility
it coincided
absolutely NONE of it can be put down to Keane
Well... none of it can be put down to Keane himself doing anything, but i'm sure the players were in a different state of mind knowing their new boss was watching... wouldnt you?
