    Delaney-Trappatoni

What an absolute disgrace that our CEO of the FAI decided to go to the Galway races with our National Manager rather than get to Dalymount to support Drogheda in the Champions League against Kiev....really sums up the joker Delaney is ....time for him to go...and not before time.

There's a very simple reason as to why they were in Galway. But I suppose people want to have a go so work away ......

I would imagine they were at the races for the corporate side of things courting potential sponsors and trying to get potential buyers for the 10 yr tickets. An important side of the job no doubt

I thought it was Galway Race Week, I think they could've missed one night schmoozing to actually watch our champions in Europe in probably the most high profile game of the season. Delaney OUT.

I think is fair enough. Galway Races would also be very important for talking to potential sponsors & pretty much the entire government cabinet are there too.

I don't think it's a big thing - the FAI need to sell those 10 year tickets and also need to get their foot in the door about some new big-bucks sponsorship for the EL. So in the grand scheme of things I know what can be classified as more important. Ok, it's a shame that Trap didn't go to the match, but Delaney's a suit ffs. Some perspective is needed here people!

The reason they were at the races last night was:
'Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni and his assistant Marco Tardelli were Guests of Honour at the Galway united's annual corporate dinner at the Galway Races.'

Agreed - everyone should use the word Faaaaaaaaarce.

    Bring me Delaney.
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"

Why then did he make an appearance at the Cobh v Sunderland match on Monday night that seemed to be more important to him than a champions league qualifer. The guy is a numpty and only interested in himself

There are people paid to sell seats / boxes for the new stadium, not Delaneys role solely.....also with respect to Galway Utd, why would it be more important for Delaney/Trapp to be at a jolly up instead of being at a Champions League fixture where the domestic Champions of your Association are playing a so-called "giant" of European football!??!!..........as a matter of interest has Delaney been seen at any eircom League matches lately?....I certainly never see him at any grounds...

Much more important for Delaney to be there holding their hands and uncorking their champers than actually being at a football match so.
