Most of what curtis rights is terrible and how its published is beyond me. Along with other sunday world writers for example Pat "i hate the premiership" Spillane.
Curtis is one of the worst writers around, his use of constant simile would embarrass a 12 year old.
There was a great piece with Bonner and McGrath in last Monday's indo, I was hoping it'd be online so I could post it but doesn't seem to be in the online edition.....

roy curtis is a terrible writer and the sunday world is bogroll of the lowest order. most sunday you are guaranteed a 'sunday world exclusive' from roy curtis or that other clown kevin palmer on the back page. there is no substance to his articles and very seldom any sources. im embarrassed to say that i read this weeks sunday world in work - completely off topic, but that gobs***te paddy murray's article on thomas the tank engine-WTF!!!!
[QUOTE=Scooby Doo;963532]Yep about sums him up alright. He tries too be so clever all the time and be honest he is far from it.
as for Spillane if I ever got a euro for the amount of times he says words like "Marketing" or things like: I saw the football and rugby yesterday and was not half as bit as exciting as the action in croke park then i be buying a nice football club for myself.
