    Fibber Magees, Friday evening

All supporters of Galway United and St Patricks Athletic are invited to Fibber Magees Bar, Eyre Square, before and after Friday evenings Premier Division game at Terryland Park.

Form Friday on Fibber Magees will be the official GUST sponsor. Fibbers will be sponsoring the GUST Lotto, meetings will be held there, and it will be the departure point for buses.

GUST would like to thank Foxs Bar for their support over the past few seasons.

Theres no proper supporter pubs in town, a proper one would have memorbilia all over the place, and by all accounts Foxes is meant to be a Liverpool pub with Fibbers a Man Utd.
I'd be hard pressed to make that connection on the basis of anything other then the Charity game they have every year between the two!
Th closest ANY pub comes to been a supporters pub in Massimo's for Chelsea, at least they have a few things down the back!!

Anyway i think Fibbers is a better spot, Foxes was too small and cramped and was never a pub where football fans would be welcome, in every aspect it was geared towards the 20-30 age bracket and hen parties. Fibbers is more of a working man's pub with the likes of a pool table and dart board upstairs, more of a football fans pub IMO
There's the right way, the wrong way.... and the Max Power way!! :-D
