    Ferrycarrig Park

    Hi Lads.

I was down at Ferrycarrig Park for the first game of the season and I have to say I was very impressed. Obviously the great night was aided
by a Blues win and that great goal from Karl Bermingham. Anyway I said
it at the time and still do, that Ferrycarrig Park is a ground that all
eircom League of Ireland clubs should aspire to.

Class ground, really enjoyed my visit, can't wait for the next one in July.

You should try the supporters club website, far better for stuff like that.

Agreed that the photos on the supporters website have the more current pictures. The completed building in the background is the clubhouse which has the dressing rooms underneath and the unfinished building to the right will be the gym. There are 4 floodlight all weather pitches plus a 2nd full size pitch which would put many LOI 1st team pitches to shame.

I have a computer generated picture of the permanent stand which will go up next year, subject to planning permission, if anyone can tell me how to load it on here (I am old as my username suggests)
