EDIT: Dundalk down to 10 as well, what's going on up there?

What happened there, three red cards. Anyone see the game?

Nice start to the weekend for me. Are the wheels coming off this early? Cracking result for Shels and, well, everyone really bar the plastics

Ref was an absolute disaster, Booked Keddy twice and wasnt gonna sed him off!,linesman had to radio him and tell him that he had just booked him twice!!:O

Dundalk got what we deserved, Fcuk ALL!, Shels werent any way of a better team, justb took their chances, and probably just about deserved it in the end, but the game was all about the Referee, silly decisions, stupid Yellows, awarding silly free kicks, not awarding a stonewall penalty, ruling out a goal for offside when the header came from across the box with 2 shels players on the line!!, he ripped shels off with bad decisions a few times too, not just us! ah it was a shams!

I thought referees in the league got a hard time from the fans until tonight. Every bit of abuse was justified.

Jebus, sounds like a nightmare so. Happening in nearly every game now.

Referee was awful for both sides, I have to agree. The free for our first goal was never a free, neither of Keddy's yellows were justified, the ref didn't know that it was either Keddy or Cassidy's second yellow card, Dundalk should have had a peno, Mark O'Brien couldn't make a tackle without being penalised, O'Brien was booked for not retreating ten yards when the ref was actually talking to him, etc etc. Dire stuff! That said, we were well worth the 3 points, Flood was unreal again.

ref was awful, the mistakes were against both sides and whats really worrying were so basic. mistakes that wouldnt happen in sunday league football.

on other hand was very entertaining game and Flood was excellent, hopefully other clubs dont come in for him but if he keeps playing the way he is, we are gonna find it very hard to hold onto him.

To book a player twice and not send him off once is a joke but to do it again in the second half is hilarious. Worst refereeing performance I've ever seen. Shocking stuff. But who cares, we won!!! Amazing determination from us. That lad Mulvenna up front for Dundalk is one to watch. Superb player. Second only to Anto Flood though who was excellent again.

I had a feeling Flood would come back to haunt us!, had a great game tonight, he'll take some stopping in terms of top scoring this season!, as for Philly Hughes, he was brutal for thelittle time he was on, wasnt happy with a few of our fans giving him stick, have a lot of time for him myself. With regards Mulvenna, he is a class act, really one for the future, hes still only 19 but is really beginning to establish himself!

That said, the loss is a major setback to us, and with Cassidy AND Shiels out through suspension now it will be a tough few weeks, but we should hace enough cover in Marney and Crowley, and hopefully get ourselves back to winning ways in Monaghan next week.

An now you know what happened the last time a club relied on Marney to try do Shels over. All ended in tears Thought Hughes done well tbh. Was unlucky to come off but had to be him really.

He is 22 at the end of the month, interesting that his 34 league goals in his career are all in the first division, Gethins scored a lot in the first but is so struggling in the Premier.
