i dont think anyone in limerick is up to the standard of the killester front pair, but deffo alan barry should be in squad.
A right shame if thats the case,I'd be fairly sure also that Alan Barry who easily be able to mix it with the better Irish forwards around, its no mistake that theres more Limerick teams making the latter stages of most competitions around on a very consistent basis.

if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!
like a lot of good players in limerick over the years,Alan Barry has been and will continue to be over looked for the JI team,i think myself that David Dunphy from Balla,Ger Bourke from Regional and Alan Carroll from Janesboro are at least worth a place in the squad
Bud i played against the guy up front for AA and there is no way he is as good as the two from killester ,dont get me wrong now because he is a good player but not even in the top three in limerick nerver mind the country.I think David Donphy is defo worth a look at by the IJ manager. The thing with Donphy is he is so versatile he could be playing in one position one week and then another the next.
Totally agree,David Dunphy defo deserves at least a look at by the manager of the International squad. Can play in various positions and is without doubt one of the top players in town. For some reason Balla get overlooked when it comes to the picking of the squad. If only Dec Considine was involved with Balla then you would see a wall full of International caps!
correct me if i'm wrong but are the two AA strikers (paul cummins & anthony cusack) not d top (or very close to d top) goal scorers in limerick? if not can anyone tell me who top 3 goal scorers are in limerick?
i think anthony cusack has been d top goal scorer in limerick for d previous 2 or 3 seasons? again if im wrong anyone know who was?
I would imagine that alan Barry would be close to the top of that list,he missed the last 3 months of last season with a broken leg to boot...
As mentioned Leather,Alan Barry defo deserves International recognition.Consistently scores goals and recovered from a broken leg to be at the same level he was before his unfortunate injury!
Keith Hartnett 21 goals so far this season.
has alan carroll been asked to sign for limerick 37 does anyone know?
I'd be surprised if they havent come knocking by now
alan was asked to sign with L37 a couple of months back but turned them down
i see Mark Sheehan,Keith Hartnett and Paul Cummins have been named in the squad for next weeks friendly with Northern Ireland along with Alan Barry and Mark Doherty of Newcastle West
i seen that oscar , fair play to them good players too
after signing for st michaels alan barry was always going to be included in the irish squad
does anyone know many carrick players are in the squad?
none.full squad on limerick leader website
