Aisling Annacotty played the semi V Limerick 37 on the 2nd November. They beat them 4-1. The other semi was suppose to be played the same weekend but never went ahead as Cork could not field a team and has been the problem since the match was played Monday night. I understand you want to put your best side out every game especially against a team like Wilton but how can you not field a team when you have a pick of a number of clubs? And again they only had 12 on the night??

I agree with about the advertising of the game, Annacotty were only aware of it happening Monday evening when a player recieved a text!! They finished training as far as I know last Monday in case the final was decided to be played before Christmas. Its a shame the game wasn't made public considering there were alot of great players on show Monday night

Maybe it was all a cunning plan by Cork and Wilton to not tell anyone in advance so that ye could not suss out your opponents before the final They got onto all the media and asked them to not publicise it, to give the winners a better chance in the final. Genius

Maybe it is.....Ramladies could of posted a bit of propaganda with the teams for the other night!! Was the match even played??

If Aisling Annacotty know any teams better its Lifford (from playing them about 9 times every season!) and Cork teams through friendlies and national cup and not forgetting the Gaynor Cup squads!! And one or two of them players for Cork play for Colaiste Stiofain Naoifa would know them through the colleges league! Won't start sweating......just yet!

    Annacotty keep a low profile

Ha yes match was played even went to extra time. I myself only found out game was on bout lunchtime monday when one of my friends txt me who's on the cork squad to ask was i going out to watch it. What happened first time game was suppose to be played pitch was unplayable and ref refused to allow it be played on the astroturf that was available where the pitch was, why its taken so long for them to play it tho ive no idea. Sure we found ourselves in same position and once again poor anacotty were involved. We'd to wait bout two months to play the munster final.
Seems why Cork are struggling the players they registered to play at start of the tournament dont seem to be showing up, think its dragging out a bit for them seing as cork league finished in september and they cant call up other players then from clubs as they arent registered.
