    Thumbs up

    Good thread

Football match (seen in full): Can't remember

Tennis Match (seen in full): Andre Agassi def Marcos Baghdatis 6-4, 6-4, 3-6, 5-7, 7-5 at the 2006 US Open.
Followed by Lleyton Hewitt def Marcos Baghdatis 4-6, 7-5, 7-5, 6-7 (4-7), 6-3 at the 2008 Australian Open..... sorry Marcos

There have been better matches but I thought it would be fairer to only include matches that I've seen in full.

Football match: Probably Liverpool vs Alves UEFA cup final(btw im not even a liverpool fan)

GAA: Galway Vs Kilkenny 2005 semi-final. 5-18 - 4-18.... my first match in Croke park and arguably one of the most entertaining games of hurling of all-time(not my words either)

Ireland vs Holland was also a memorable game, who could forget McAteers goal or Ruud going down in the area(looked a peno to me anyway)
There's the right way, the wrong way.... and the Max Power way!! :-D

Soccer: too many to quote but Bulgaria 0 Scotland 1 and the already mentioned Ireland 1 Holland 0. Also Shamrock Rovers 3 Waterford 0 in an FAI cup final many moons ago and Sheffield Wednesday 5 Manchester United 4 in 1969.

    Tennis: 1980 - Men's Singles Final
    B Borg (Swe) bt J McEnroe (US) 1-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-7 (16-18), 8-6.

Golf: First time Europe won the Ryder Cup in ages in 1985.

Rugby: March 1995: Wales 12 Ireland 16, Cardiff Arms Park.

Cricket: My cricket hero at the time Geoff Boycott returning triumphantly in 1977, scoring a century in his comeback Test. I was a huge Yorkshire fan (Shire where Wednesday are based) so it was a double pleasure for me.

Hurling: galway beating kilkenny in 2005,the atmosphere in croke park that day was unreal(the one gilberto mentioned)

Golf: Harrington winning the irish open last year(i missed the british open)

Snooker: when ebdon bet o'sullivan a few years ago(the time ebdon started playing really slowly on purpose just to annoy ronnie)

Football: Sligo rovers2 bohs1. Seanie connor haha.

Athletics: When sonia o'sullivan came 2nd in the olympics,I know she lost but it was still a great race.

Horse racing: Any time I won money!!

boxing: coralles vs castillo in 2005

darts: adams beating nixon in bdo world final,it was probably fixed but I didn't realise that at the time!

Gaelic: Sligo beating galway in the connacht final last year.

Tennis: Federer beating sampras in 2001 in wimbledon. The end of one era and the start of another.

Darts: Id go for Taylor/Barney world final in 07. The best and most consistent darts player ever against one of his greatest challengers ending in a sudden death leg.

Gaelic: All Ireland semi 2 years ago Mayo v Dublin just for the sheer drama and the Dubs getting beat after being so far ahead.

Hurling: Cork and Waterford in the drawn All Ireland quarter final in 07.

Football: Barca v Real Betis 2 years ago. Simply because I was at the game and Barca destroyed them 5-1. Ronaldinho, Messi, Eto'o etc. all on top form.

GAA - Mayo vs Dublin semi final. 7 points down..... beautiful.

Football - Ireland vs Italy WC94. Croatia beating England at Wembley was hilarious.

Rugby - Ireland beating England (newly crowned world champions) at Twickenham.

Hurling: 1996 Leinster Final, my first time in Croke Park and sitting near the top of the then new stand, first time Wexford had won Leinster in years and they went on to win the All Ireland, honourable mention to the drawn semi final with Cork in 2003, I sat on the hill for about half an hour after the game totally drained.

Gaelic Football: Was at the Dublin Meath replay match in Croker last year and it was the loudest atmosphere I've experienced in Croker, and it was a cracking game and Wexford beat Louth the same day.

Soccer: Wexford Youths v Cobh Ramblers 18th March 2007, first ever home game and a win, coldest day ever, great to be there.

Golf: Van de Velde falling apart in the British Open, incredible television.

Darts: Irish Open final in 2000, won by Chris Mason, because I was there and it was a fantastic day all around, I think it was only the first or second year of the pro's coming over and it set the tone for the big tournaments we now have over here.

The bore beats the bigger bore.

    I forgot:

Snooker: Denis Taylor beating Steve D to win the WC and Ken Doherty also winning it.

    John Tracey winning Olympic silver.

Race: any of Istabraqs champion hurdles, maybe not great races just the way they were won.

Fight: Benn v Eubanks were great fights.

Golf: Ryder Cup 2002 at the Belfry after the shenanigins at Brookeline was sweet.

Are you serious? Of course he did!! After the interval his average time per shot went WAY up. There was one time it was clearly not a touching ball and he ref even said it wasn't but Ebdon kept looking really closely at it and then ronnie just threw a towel over his own head. It was interesting to see how worked up Ronnie became. Dry one by ebdon but I suppose he wouldn't have beaten him otherwise.

Funnily enough I was on about this in the office today. I was getting stressed at Ebdon's antics never mind the Rocket!!! It wouldn't have surprised me if Ronnie cracked him over the head with his cue that night just to numb the boredom .

    Apollon Limmassol 1 - 1 Cork City

The game had everything, intense pressure on City, a hostile loud crowd, being led into the stadium past the barbed wire fences, an ould fella risking his life hanging a City flag on the other side of the plexiglass from some mental cypriots, Dan Murray being booked for jumping on the ground mocking the Apollon strikers for diving, Denis Behan's oscar winning performance in ignoring his imminent substitution, struggling to stay attached to the floor when a gust of wind caught onto a TIFO flag, singing "shels are in limerick, we are in cyprus!", Mick Devine losing a stone in water, Murray's incredible header, a fan trying to leap a 10 foot moat and failing miserably ending up on a stretcher, their polish international burning everyone for pace, Apollon players losing the plot and chasing our players around at the final whistle, having to be escorted from the ground to our bus to the airport, players and fans celebrating together in the airport, the news that we'd be playing Red Star Belgrade next...

Of all, Cricket: South Africa beating Australia's 434 record one day total in Johannesburg in 2006 with one man and one ball to spare.

Rugby: France's comeback against New Zealand in 1999

Football: Last day of La Liga, Barcelona 3-2 Valencia in 2000 (?) with that Rivaldo goal.

Tennis: Ivanisevic Rafter at the Wimbledon final.
    The Model Club

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.
