Not the best idea (for the person who would have to put it together)but something that just occured to me.
In my more bored moments in this life I flick back to past threads I was involved in, and often find myself in threads from before my time that interest me, and think that this feature is one of the better ones on the site, so I was wondering what people's thoughts on a Foot Hall of Fame for the more colourful threads that have come about on here for newbies and the rest of us to flick through from time to time? I realise that this would take up a lot of someone's time, might not be appreciated, and might possibly stoke up some past troubles (just read one of Eanna's old threads on Rovers for example), so it might not be the best idea, but just thought I'd throw it out there.

Great idea Jebus, in my opinion. I wouldn't have it too widespread, but it might be an idea for some folk to suggest possibilities here.
I propose the famous Anne Doyle thread from Off Topic from a few years ago, that predated Totty Watch and allowed another layer of sleaze to penetrate the site! I'll try to root out a link to it on Monday - too damnably tired to do it now.
