MONAGHAN UNITED SUPPORTERS CLUB DRAW RESULTS
Monaghan United held their annual Supporters Club Draw on Friday night last during the Ladies team and Under 21’s presentation bash. The top prize of €10,000 went to locals Ted and Maureen Gillanders, Sheetrim, Monaghan.

The other prizes were won as follows:

€1,000 Eoghan & Denise Cooke, Clondalkin, Dublin
€500 Ryan O’Neill, Mullingar, Westmeath
€500 Raymond Aughey, The Squealing Pig, Monaghan
€250 Terry McQuaid, Emyvale, Monaghan
€250 Christina Arthurs, 36 Glencove Manor, Monaghan
€250 Cecil Finnegan & Kevin Maguire, Monaghan
€250 Stephen Kenny & Jimmy Mee, Monaghan

Congratulations to all of the above winners and thank you to everyone who helped support Monaghan United through the Supporters Club Draw.

MONS JUVENILES BUSY IN NEW YEAR
With the leagues returning in the New Year and United’s busy schedule in Cup competitions, United’s youth teams will be kept busy. The Under 12’s will be away to Granada FC in the Norton Cup while the Under 13’s travel to Sallins Celtic in the Troy Cup.

The Under 14’s Goodson Cup next round draw left Monaghan United and Trim Celtic to battle it out for a home game against St Joseph Boys. The Under 15’s will be at home to Lagan Harps in the Evans Cup while the Under 16’s will have to play Malahide first to see if they have the chance to play St Michaels at home in the Barry Cup.
