Very, sad news. I've met Tommy on many occasions. He was arguably the greatest ever Linfield player. My sympathies go to his family and friends.

It is with much sadness that Linfield Football Club announces the death of the former captain of the 1961-62 Seven Trophy Winning Team, Tommy Dickson who was of course famously nicknamed "The Duke of Windsor".
Tommy passed away in the early hours of today after a long illness, courageously borne.
