Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
was at the game and didnt personally hear any racist abuse, can anyone confirm that they acually heard it?, a very serious offence and would be a shame and embarrassment for the club to be associated with it,
No-one gave any racist abuse at all! Not that i heard, and i would have if there was. Complete joke.
no point argueing over it.
if there was a rumour that Paul Cook was chicken molesting in the dugout we'd be given a fine.
200euro fine for racist abuse???? surely it would be more?? dont they do similar fines for handing in the team sheet late?
Just saying what I heard lads
Misfits
was definatly no racist abuse. we booed mansaram and chanted w****r once but thats it. nothing out of the ordinary!
Thats probably all the FAI need to impose a fine the idiots.
Like the FAI themselves getting fined when over the last few years ex and current Rangers players got booed i Dublin and UEFA claimed it was sectarian chanting!!!
New Rules for next season.
1. Each Opposing group of supporters must applaud each and every Goal scored by the opposition team.
2. Players and Fans must accept without arguement any decision made by a referee no matter how ridicoulous. (and boy we have seen some priceless ones this season last Saturday alone was torture)
3. When Rovers fans are taunted by opposing teams they must sing back "Oh you are so very nice chaps over there...."
any other ideas lads..........?????????
this is ridiculous guff from the fai.
it really is
how exactly do the fai come to their conclusions on these fines, are they based on match reports from ref/4th official etc, the stewards? also is there any way we can find out for definite what the fine is for, "behaviour of some fans" is way too vague
I was at the game in Dalymount and didn't notice anything out of the ordainary can the FAI be a bit more specific as I don't like being labelled racist for attending a football game.
63.00
I heard a few rovers fans calling the bohs fans "Jackeens" so thats enuff i suppose?
one lad beside me questioned his english parentage. Mansaram got plenty of abuse but it wasn't racist.Seems like a way for the FAI to raise money for Stauntons pay off.
there was no racist abuse at all i think we all know that, but i do know someone did threaten mansaram as he was about to take a throw and it was dealt with by a guard there and then!!
How the hell can the FAI fine Rovers for the behaviour of someone in the sligo section at a ground not under their control. Anyone can shout 'come on sligo', then something racist, and wham, fine! Its riduculus. The local secutity should report to the guardi, and it be dealt with by them. Nothing to do with either club in my opinion, as long as the clubs can show they did all within their power to remove individuls who are bing racist and not ignore the problem.
