Havent got the album yet but heard two tracks on the radio. Flourescent Adolescent sounds great, but 505, what a tune! Just stopped me in my tracks, amazing song. And this on a first listen! Dont think ive looked forward to hearing an album as much in ages.

Is there something decedant, deviant or other that leads this topic to be about an LP by a band of whom ye dare not speak their name

I'd to google the thread title to find out exactly what the hell ye were on about.

    Quality.
Quite similar to the debut IMO, but that's a good thing. Leave the radical departures for the 'difficult third album'. This effort proves that 'Whatever...' wasn't a one-off if nothing else.
Have to say though that I like this new one a bit better. Maybe more than that.

There's this one where everything is made of lego and giant size, and everyone repeats a single word the whole time; so there I am, being head wrecked by these mono-literal types, and I try to run away when -

Hang on. This isn't the the off-topic thread.
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

    "head wrecked" - very articulate.

Us mono-lierate dullards just can't compete with that.

Damn good album. Only One Who Knows is a bit out of place though I reckon. 505 is an excellent closing track, Old Yellow Bricks and Do The Bad Thing are great too.

old yellow bricks is the next single , would have thought Do me a favour , 505 or even Teddy Picker was a better choice
