What use do ya get out of the buddy list and ignore list?
What do they do like?
The buddy list is handy if you use the private messaging system a bit, in that you can choose recipients by checking a box instead of typing in a username. Posts by users on your ignore list are blocked when a thread is printed, which is handy if you're bored senseless of a particular muppet on the forums. I have quite a substantial ignore list on Boards.ie. I imagine I appear on quite a few of them too.

Is there any way of being able to ignore a whole thread? I've clicked on that bloody politics one far too many times by mistake.
