That's what I thought
His last game was a pre-season friendly for Cork against a Spurs team including Gazza & Lineker.

I think you'll find he's from Cork, and never played for Limerick.

went from cork city to man utd after fai cup final.he never played a 1st team for man utd.only time he came close was when gary pallister got injured against liverpool,when his boot was ripped in a tackle.carey was set to play in the next game but utd would have had to pay cork city extra money if he made his debut.
