    Cork Players playing in England

How come when a player leaves City for another club in Ireland we give him ****, but when one leaves to go to England people clap and say bravo!

Take ollie for example. Surely him going to Shels is taking a step forward, but still we gave him **** when he came back this year. If John O'Flynn went to Man. Utd. and was playing in a pre-season game against us at Turners Cross, Would we boo him?

obviously not. it all comes down to whether the player has moved to a) a rival club or b) whether the player has moved on to a team that we cannot match, or have any hope of matching in the near future.
