    Portsmouth's New Stadium

Just looking at the truly amazing images of the plans for what is going to be a £600m project. Have a look; http://www.pompeyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/...016026,00.html

Pretty damn amazing. I wonder if you need a boat to get to it?!

Hopefully for their sake Al Gore was well wide of the mark on global warming!

From what I hear there is a view in Portsmouth that the plans are unrealistic, poorly located, and there is quite a bit of opposition - including some of the political groups.

Will be interesting to see how this one pans out.

It's still crazy money and unnecessary for a club like Portsmouth. Liverpool are building one for half that money and Liverpool are 100 times the club that Portsmouth are so the expense is a bit OTT. The only way you can justify it is as a landmark for the south coast, financially and design wise it's fantasy stuff!
