Can those people who offered to make a contribution towards the cost of the Cork City wreath, kindly make a donation here instead?

    Regards & thanks,
    Peadar.

Just back from holidays and can't really believe this.

We had some good verbal jousting over the years - his loathing of Shels was legendary! - but he knew his stuff and had a really wicked sense of humour.

€247 by my count. I thought you were enquiring about the charity, so it must be Dodge that was doing it?

Never met him but enjoyed reading his many posts. Always sad when someone is taken away from us at such a young age.

Having just come from the funeral of a dear friend & relation today I have a better understanding of the pain that friends & family of wws are feeling.

My mate was only 31 one of the most amazing artists, musicians, writer & person. Its so hard to comprehend.

thankyou to everyone who contributed to this thead. We have printed off this one and the one on the Pats forum and bound them so that everyone in our family can read the comments. Also the Pats lads have printed off copies and placed them by Peters grave for people to read.

Pretty sure I met Peter at the old eL MB matches in the Phoenix Park, and also at a couple of eL matches.

    A true gent - he'll be sorely missed - that's for sure...

Just to let you know the months mind will be in Rathcoole church at 630pm on Saturday the 12th of May and all are welcome to attend. the below acknowledgement should be in tomorrows Independent and Herald.

RYAN, PETER, who died 3rd April 2007 (Rathcoole Co Dublin) – Peter’s parents, Eamonn and Mary, his brothers, Michael, Austin and John, and his sister Aine would like to thank all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss. Those who called to the house and attended the funeral service and burial; those who sent Mass cards, floral tributes and letters of sympathy. To our extended family and friends and our wonderful neighbours in Beechwood Lawns, especially Mary and Pat Morley. To all Peter’s friends who came to the hospital and attended the funeral service. To the doctors and nursing staff at Tallaght Hospital and to the priests and choir of Saggart Church. To his colleagues in the Dept of Environment, all Eircom League Supporters, especially the fans and staff of St Patrick`s Athletic F.C.
We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Peter`s Months Mind Mass will take place in RATHCOOLE church on Sat 12th May at 6.30pm

I submitted a piece to the Cork City programme for tomorrow's game. Hopefully it will be printed. Probably wont mean much to most people but I'm grateful to the club for giving me the chance to remember Peter.
