    Tv Camera

Why isnt the camera in the old stand?

The ground is superb and with the new stand it will be the best in the league, but the tv gantry should be in the old stand. It would show off the ground a lot more by seeing the main stand rather than old one.

It would be too low on that stand anyway though.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Scafolding? Or raised platform of some sort. As tv eye candy the ground would look much better on tv.

But the current gantry has enough room for a studio aswell, plus its all geared up i.e. cabling etc.

What should actually happen is to drop the walkway behind that stand about six feet and extend the seating area over the top of it. It would nearlt double the capacity of it then.

Its very narrow on that side so camera would be almost over the pitch & too low.

Yeah, well consider how grounds develop normally it would be an easy mistake to make.
