They had a myspace page last time I checked. Same band for def.

Thought of another one ...It's A Secret - two piece who had a hit in several European countries back in 1986 called 'I Can't Dance'. I know nothing else about them.

Saw them in UCD, opening for Turn and the Frank and Walters. I'd heard a single of theirs on the radio a few times. They opened and closed their (not especially long) set with it, which kind of summed it up really.

My brother was the original bass player with the Pets. He also played with Hey Paulette, if anyone remembers them. Currently playing with Crumb. They released an album a couple of years ago called Evenings and Weekends - which is pretty damn good (and not just saying that cos I'm biased.)

D is your brother? He's very good mates with my brother. They're just back from Tokyo where your brother was signing Hey Paulette records.

I mentioned them in a thread about Razorlight once upon a recently. I think that horrible "America" sounds very like them. You may guess I wasn't quite a fan. There was little I hated more than the spew of celtic-rock bands who did their photoshoots on hill tops and cliff edges casting a glad eye o'er the fair land and sea about them.

Is there anywhere you can get that Marbles Tune "Something In My Eye" online? Used to think that was excellent but then they seemed to vanish off the face of the earth... Any abuse of My Little Funhouse is much deserved... Pack of w*&kers and cretins, they really did think they were the dogs... Turgid Lumberjack image to boot as well.

    You forgot Chill.
Can't actually find any photos of them.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

Treasure On The Wasteland features One of the best choruses ever written and it goes:-

    O Ee O Ee O Ee
    O Ee O Ee O Ee O Ee O Ee O Ee O Ee O Ee O Ee

Here's a few lines of verse:

    There's treasure on the wasteland
    Looking for the whiphand
    Funny how they missed it
They said goodbye and kissed it
    ......................................
    .....................................
    And living on the Northside
    Damages a person's pride....

The single was produced by Ultravox's Midge Ure.

The Atrix also supported The Stranglers in the National Stadium in October 1979. I was there.

Prince used the exact same chorus for "It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night" from Sign "O" The Times and I'm pretty sure that's plagarised too.
