In fairness the POTY gets a sticky at the top of the fora while the POTM tends to hide away in off-topic where only a few people ever see it.

It's no prob stickying it, I'll sticky it anymore so.
I think it's the announcement has a lot to do with it aswell though, as it's in every forum so people who dont look at off topic are still directed towards the voting.
