Senior Player: I can't see how Damien could win this award, a poor year for him. Nor indeed Doyle with a handful of caps. For the first time in years no outfield player can make even a reasonably compelling case - just goes to show what a bad year it has been for Irish foot.ie.

tbf, if it's judged on internaional performances (which I assume it is?) Duff has as much right to be there as anyone really.
I agree Dunne for me - with no midfield in most games he (& his defensive colleagues) has had to do an awful lot of defending.Originally Posted by PaulB
