No Shels Players in "B" International Squad?

How come the "Champions Elect" have no players in the Ireland B International squad? Has Ollie requested that they be excluded so as not to disrupt their charge to the title?

Congrats to Roy, Gamble, Deery and Ward, who did make the squad.

Rather foolish really, when you consider that it would do your players good to get some practice on the Dalymount pitch.

We all know that Fenlon is Ollies puppet anyway.

Not really Peadar, if the replay goes ahead it'll be next Monday possibly.

You sure it was Fenlon's request? Deery is almost certain to be pulled from squad so why not let them be called up and get the associated good press before pulling them?

It would be a shame if Ward missed his chance to impress.

Fenlon is assistant manager to Devlin for this game - it would look stupid to agree to players being called up and them withdrawing them just for publicity

4 Leagues and 1 FAI CUP win in those 6 years - they're the looks that matter.

Only Shels players that could have been picked were Heary and Byrne IMO. Darren Quigley and Jason Gavin should have been picked as well.

Surely there are more than 4 other eL players that Pat Devlin advises?

BTW the FAI showing amazing intelligence again to schedule a B International on the last week of the eL season so best teams likely to have mid week games.

They won't look too good if(when?) Shels go out of business.

To be fair, they have done their best to promote the B International by helping to make this season's league utterly meaningless.

You could lend them the rubber medals Dolan dished out to your lot after Marneygate.

I dont get the Ollie hysteria with most fans.
While Ollie the man wouldnt be my cup of tea
Ollie the Shels Chairman cant be faulted imo
He fights Shelbournes causes tooth and nail and goes through
every avenue to get them an advantage or to keep one
If he sees anything that would benefit Shels one iota hes onto it like
    a flash.
He is obviously working 24/7 and probably knows the rulebook
    better than the FAI
Maybe Im wrong but Shelbournes demise is wishful thinking on alot of people's part as far as I can see and until someone shows me concrete proof I remain unconvinced.
Shels play some decent football and the Ollie Shels bashing is for one reason
    IMO
