Shels chief offers upbeat assessment
Shelbourne chief executive Ollie Byrne insists that the future of the club is secure and Reds have nothing to worry about despite this week’s stay of execution from the High Court.
Shels have been given until October 2nd to fork out a sum of €104,000 to the Revenue Commissioners after a High Court winding-up petition. But Byrne has declared that the delay in repaying the Revenue was down to a point of discussion and not an inability to come up with the funds.
