Jeez, I was talking to one of the lads on the phone earlier and he said nothing about this. Well done! On a sidenote - what was Mark O' Connor like tonight? I'd love to see my former classmate break into the first team setup.
Monaghan United Under 21's held Sligo Rovers to a goalless draw at Century Homes Park tonite (Monday). Sligo fielded 8 of the their first team in a "training Session". Despite playing some key players such as Cash, Foy and Hughes, Sligo were unable to break Monaghan down and the young lads from United gave Sligo goalie Brush a few scares.
Well done Mons!

Well done Mons, but I'm sure if it was a league match and the first teamers who played actually gave a crap, we'd have won!
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Yeah but it was an under 21's league match and Sean was managing them so even tho it was pretty much used as a training session they still should have tried to win as its important to your u21's season. Also they did put in the effort. They were just muck!
It's not like you to speak about Foyzer like that, lovers tiff?.

It was funny just after half time when Sean was returning to the bench he looked over & saw me sitting at the clubhouse door with my big cast sitting on a stool. He walked past and did a double take b4 proceeding to his seat. CHP looked like feckin Lourdes last nite coz some other girl came in on crutches....
No but the look on his face was!Originally Posted by The Stars

Probably belongs in the U-21 section too.
Connor must go!
